ColourPal collects nothing. No analytics, no accounts, no tracking, no remote services other than the App Store itself.
What ColourPal does not do
- It does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information.
- It does not use analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting services.
- It does not bundle any third-party SDK that contacts the network.
- It does not set cookies, fingerprint your device, or track you across apps or websites.
- It does not require an account, sign-in, or any form of identification.
What ColourPal stores on your Mac
ColourPal saves your palette state — circle hues, saturation and lightness, lock states, snapshot slots, role assignments, and similar settings — entirely on your own device, in standard application storage. This data never leaves your Mac unless you save a .colourpal file and share it yourself.
In-app purchases
ColourPal Studio is a one-off in-app purchase processed by Apple via StoreKit. ColourPal does not see, store, or transmit your payment details. Apple handles the transaction; ColourPal only checks with the operating system whether you own the upgrade so it can unlock the relevant features.
Web fonts and external resources
ColourPal uses only the typefaces built into macOS. It does not load any fonts, scripts, images, or stylesheets from the internet at runtime.
Children
ColourPal is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal data, no special handling is required for children’s data under COPPA, GDPR, or comparable regulations.
Changes to this policy
If ColourPal ever begins collecting any data — for example, if a future version added optional cloud sync — this page will be updated and the change will be highlighted in the app’s release notes before any data is collected.
